Well Being Award Day

On Wednesday we welcomed the assessor for our Well Being assessment day.  She chatted with various people regarding the emotional health and well being of our staff and children. This involved pupils, staff and some of our parents. We are so grateful to everyone who took the time out of their busy days to support us with this award.

We are really excited to say WE PASSED!!!! Particular thanks should go to Mrs Cooper, Mrs Priest and Ms Bullas, who have worked so hard to gather evidence to submit for our assessment.

Well-Being with our Peacemakers

As part of our Peacemakers initiative, Mrs Stowe along with some of children will be getting 'Green Fingered' in our flower beds, and planting various bulbs. There will be separate groups over the next couple of weeks. Mrs Stowe will let the children know, and when its their turn they just turn up at lunchtime to join in.

Parking near school

Can we politely request that you give consideration to our neighbours when parking your car at either end of the school day. We have had a few complaints whereby residents have been blocked in on their driveways by inconsiderate parking. Thank you for your co-operation.

Lost Property

We have had handed a gold coloured ring which has been found on our school grounds. If anyone has lost one, please pop into the office to claim it.

Free Cycling Sessions

Dudley MBC are offering free cycling sessions on the first Saturday of each month. They run from 9:30 - 12:30pm. For more information or to book your place contact the road safety and travel awareness team on email road.safety@dudley.gov.uk or call 01384 815433.

Reception Class Plea......

Mrs Morgan has asked if anyone could kindly donate any of the following items: Any pots, pans, utensils etc for their Mud Kitchen. Any unwanted dressing up clothes (age 5-8).Any lego people, wheels etc

Please bring them into your class or pop them into the school office. Thank you, as always for your generosity - it is very much appreciated.

More Keys Please!

We have received quite a few keys from our previous plea, however we would still like more! So if you have a drawer full of old keys, for locks, padlocks etc that you no longer have, could you send them in to school? We are using them as part our new project in our Peacemakers circle time. Thank you.

After School Clubs

There won't be any after school clubs on the Tuesday and Thursday the first week back after half term. Look out for letters from Mr Barnett giving details of the next clubs to take part in.

Mr Barnett will be running Football Club for Year 5 and 6 on Wednesdays including the first week back - letter to follow very soon!

Happy Half Term

We would like to wish you all a very happy half term break. Hope you enjoy your week off school and will return refreshed and raring to go.
