SNOW!
You should have received a flyer yesterday with details of what to look out for in the event of so much snow falling that our school is closed and Sunday is predicted to be especially snowy. Could we remind you that any closure would be posted to our school website, you would also receive a text telling you about the closure and also a note from our facebook page. If you have not received a text - if it's not on our website - if there is nothing on facebook it means we are open. Please do not ring school it clogs up the line for more important calls and if we are closed there will be no one in!
School Choir in Concert
Our school choir is 'Guesting' at a Christmas Carol Concert on Monday 11th December with In Sound Company Community Choir at St James Church, Belfry Drive, Stourbridge. Our choir are singing various Carols as are the Community Choir who have invited them. The concert starts at 7:30pm and all are welcome to go along and begin the festive season listening to lovely songs, readings and poems.
Key Stage One Production
If you ordered programmes for the KS1 Production you should have received them this week. It's happening on Wednesday 13th at 2:00pm and then on Thursday 14th at 6:00pm. If you requested extra programmes, they are available from today - just call in at the school office. If you ordered programmes but forgot to leave payment, they are waiting for you, with your child's name on, in the office.
What's on locally.....
This weekend we have Winter Wonderland and Craft Market at Mary Stevens Hospice from 10:30-4pm on 9th December. On the same day Wordsley Community Centre have a Christmas Bazaar and Market from 2-5pm. Also on Saturday 9th, Santa's Grotto opens in the Ryemarket, Stourbridge. Then on Sunday 10th you can visit Santa by canal boat from The Bonded Warehouse. Lots to do this festive season.
Lunch on the last day of term
This year we break up on a Wednesday. Although this is normally 'roast' day. our kitchen will be serving boxed meals of pizza and chips. They have purchased special Christmas themed boxes for the occasion and there will be carols playing in the dining hall......... very festive!
