Thursday 8th July
Maths
For Maths today, I would like you to get practical! Can you find objects around your house and work out what they weigh? You can use the labels from these objects to help- for example I know a tin of beans from my kitchen cupboard weighs 415g- this is less than 1 kg.
You can record your findings using the sheet below if you like- or you might have another more interesting way! As always, you can send me any work- I love to see it!
Today's maths skills check link is below!
English
SPAG
For our Grammar and Punctuation work, we will be using our usual Classroom Secrets sheets.
Just a reminder of the different pages (don't feel you have to do it all - remember to pick the level that is suitable for you!)
The Varied Fluency worksheet is to practise the skill.
The Application and Reasoning worksheet is to apply what you have learnt.
D is for Developing - give this sheet a try if you're not sure on the subject.
E is for Expected - give this sheet a try if you feel confident with the subject.
GD is for Greater Depth - give this sheet ago if you want to challenge yourself.
Spellings
Challenge yourself to complete this booklet over the next two days!
Science
How much can you remember about the human skeleton from Science? Take the quiz below to find out!
PE
We would normally do some PE on a Thursday, so I do hope you are having a chance to keep active even though you are at home. Please send me some photographs of anything you do that shows you being active! Last week, lots of you kept a Fitness Diary- so you could always carry on keeping your own diary this week too!
As the Olympics are being held in Tokyo this summer, below I have also included some Olympic information to read and activities to complete that will help exercise your brains!
