Morning Year 5, todays maths is a recap of our learning from December. I would like you to look again at Multiples.

Firstly watch the vidoe linked below then complete the quiz underneath the video. Then choose the challeng you are going to complete  today

Continue to use these Spelling Lists to practise your spellings

Challenge yourself to practise 10 a day.  Today I would like you to do a spelling doodle like we have done in class.

Choose 10 spellings, draw your scribble then write your spellings correctly into the spaces. I can't wait to see them!

Reading

Today you have a reading task. I would like you to read the text attatched it is the same text as the one at the beginning of the week. 

Today I would like you to discover some new vocabulary. Using a dictionary I would like you to look up some of the ambitious vocabulary from the text. 

Science

We are continuing with our current Science topic that we started before Christmas- we have a few lessons still to cover before we move onto our new topic.

Today I would like you to look at friction. Firstly, click on the link to BBC Biteseize, please watch the video and then complete the quizes. 

Next, using the knowledge you have learnt complete the sheet attatched.
