Looking After Our Wellbeing

It has been so lovely to see everyone back in school and  hearing what they have been up to in half term.

This term we are focusing on one of the five ways to wellbeing - keep learning.  Learning new things helps us to grow as a person, it gives us confidence and boosts our self esteem, it also helps us to connect with others. Why not watch the video clip and share your thoughts with your children.  Maybe you can learn something new together?

It doesn't have to cost money to keep learning, here are some suggestions:

  • learn a new word each day
  • visit a museum or art gallery
  • try out a musical instrument
  • do a word search
  • try a new food
  • learn to cook a new recipe
  • study an animal or bug
  • visit a new place
  • write a story or song
If you have tried or learnt something new why not share it with us. You could send in a photo or simply share what you have learnt.  We can't wait to keep learning with you.
Have a wonderful weekend and as always look after each other, with lots of love from The Pastoral Team xxx

Celebrating our children's work

Year 4 have been working hard in their science lessons. They have been identifying how living things can be grouped in a variety of ways, take a look at Rosie's beautiful work - she has some great facts and some funny information too.

Well Done Rosie.

Finally...

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend- let’s hope the rain stays away and we have some sunshine to enjoy!

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is the responsibility of everyone in our school and at all times we consider what is in our children's best interests. We work to ensure our children are safe and cared for and by doing this we are protecting their health and development and preventing them from harm.  If we are worried, we will raise concerns, share information and take prompt action with the aim of ensuring families receive the right help at the right time.
