Welcome to our Newsletter

Another week has flown by and our children have been engaged in all kinds of new learning.

All children have now completed task 3 from our AWARE challenges- that of taking part in the BIG SCHOOLS BIRDWATCH. Ask your child which birds they spotted?

Read the news from Ms Bullas below to hear and see more about this. Plus you can find out about the Eco-Schools Award that we are hoping to achieve this year.

Hopefully you can also support your children in being Eco Friendly by helping them to complete some of the other tasks listed on our SPARKS AWARE poster, which can be viewed if you keep scrolling!

Pastoral Update

We hope you have all had a good week.

During dull days we need make our own sunshine.  The benefits of music are so powerful and can really make us feel good. Try and get a little music into your daily routine and see if it has a positive affect.

"Music and mental health are deeply interconnected, with each having the power to influence and enhance the other in meaningful ways. There are positive effects of music on mental health. Music can reduce stress, elevate mood, and even improve sleep quality. It has shown therapeutic benefits for various mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and PTSD."

Why not sing and dance your way into the weekend. Look after each other, lots of love The Pastoral Team xxxx

Please take a look at the newsletter titled "What's Going On In Our Community" for information regarding events in the local area!

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is the responsibility of everyone in our school and at all times we consider what is in our children's best interests. We work to ensure our children are safe and cared for and by doing this we are protecting their health and development and preventing them from harm.  If we are worried, we will raise concerns, share information and take prompt action with the aim of ensuring families receive the right help at the right time.
