Welcome to

Crestwood Park Primary School

Be the best you can be

Welcome to our Newsletter

We made it! Our carol service this morning ended a term packed with memorable events. From coffee mornings to art exhibitions, From visits from the fire service to visits from Santa. From raising money for Diabetes UK and Children In need to supporting our 5p Fridays. We really have packed it all in.

I must say that there have been so many successes. Within school, we have seen children’s engagement with their reading soar, Forest school has returned to the timetable and is being enjoyed by all. The children have celebrated curriculum subjects in such creative ways- Healthy Eating Day, Science Day, Art Day and Design and Technology week ensure that our children really are recipients of a curriculum to be proud of. A curriculum too that is delivered by our team of very dedicated and talented staff.

Most of all the support of our families with every event and the overwhelming commitment of our HSA has ensured that we have raised money for charities, but also for our own school. Events such as Film Night and the Christmas Market simply would not have happened without such wonderful parental support.

Thank you all and I hope you enjoy reading the last newsletter of 2023!

REMEMBER WE ARE BACK ON MONDAY 8TH JANUARY- WE DO NOT HAVE AN INSET DAY!

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is the responsibility of everyone in our school and at all times we consider what is in our children's best interests. We work to ensure our children are safe and cared for and by doing this we are protecting their health and development and preventing them from harm.  If we are worried, we will raise concerns, share information and take prompt action with the aim of ensuring families receive the right help at the right time.
