Welcome to our Newsletter
Well, we have made it to the end of another year and wow what a busy one it has been!
As I reflect on the year, there have been so many highlights- our 50th Birthday celebrations stand out in particular but also the many engaging and interesting curriculum days we have held for our children- Music Day, Art Day, Wellbeing Day, Careers Day and our Local Area Study to name just a few.
Our children continue to work hard and this year we achieved great Phonics Screening and SAT results. Our reading standards have gone from strength to strength, and we want the passion for reading to continue to grow. Please play your part over the holiday and support your child to complete Mrs Cadman’s summer reading competition and challenge detailed within this newsletter.
It has been great to see every class embark on an exciting school trips. I know for many children a trip to the Safari Park or the chance to complete a high ropes course has been the standout favourite memory of their year.
We have also been able to offer some wonderful extra-curricular opportunities. This year saw Breakfast with Santa, the Talent Show, Sign Club, Summer Fun and Cricket coaching rank among the most successful.
We will endeavour to make next year as action packed, so please check in with our school calendar- we have updated it!
Thanks go to everyone who makes up our Crestwood Park Family- together we make all this happen!

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is the responsibility of everyone in our school and at all times we consider what is in our children's best interests. We work to ensure our children are safe and cared for and by doing this we are protecting their health and development and preventing them from harm. If we are worried, we will raise concerns, share information and take prompt action with the aim of ensuring families receive the right help at the right time.
