Welcome to our Newsletter
Well, all I can say at the end of this week is…WOW!
Earlier in the week we had visitors in school who were so impressed with the passion of our staff and the level of enthusiasm and engagement from our pupils.
Today, I have been blown away by the efforts shown across school by each class to create sea creatures from recycled plastic and learn about all about a continent. I guarantee you will be amazed too when you scroll down this newsletter and view the photos from our Geography Day! A big thank you to Miss Clarke for her hard work in planning the day.
Happy Birthday to you...

Sending Birthday wishes to Alfie, Amelia, Cody, Harrison and Beatrice who have celebrated their birthdays this week or will be celebrating over the weekend.

Geography Day - A Message from Miss Clarke

Talent Show
The Talent Show is due to take place at The Crestwood Secondary School at 6pm on Thursday 30th January 2025.
If your child would like to be considered for selection at this show, they will need to have an act ready for class auditions.
Each class will then vote for several acts to perform at the final show, due to be held at The Crestwood School.
We ask that each act be no longer than 5 minutes. If your child wants to be part of a group act, please indicate this on the form and list the members of the group.
If your child has a talent they’d like to share, please complete the Google form (link below) before Monday 20th January, as class auditions will take place on Monday 20th, Tuesday 21st or Wednesday 22nd of January.
Letters will be sent to children who have been successful on Friday 24th January, ready for the Talent Show on Thursday 30th.

Our SPARKS focus this half term is AWARE!

Meet the staff

Finally...
I feel I must end this newsletter with a big thankyou to our staff and families for supporting our children to become so much more aware of how we can help and protect the environment.
It is true that…
“When enough people come together, then change will come and we can achieve almost anything.”
PS: Don’t forget to send in a photo of your child recycling the plastic they came home with today!
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is the responsibility of everyone in our school and at all times we consider what is in our children's best interests. We work to ensure our children are safe and cared for and by doing this we are protecting their health and development and preventing them from harm. If we are worried, we will raise concerns, share information and take prompt action with the aim of ensuring families receive the right help at the right time.
