Welcome to our Newsletter
Well, it has been nice to complete a full week in school and end with a wonderful assembly from year 5 this morning. We certainly learned lots about the Ancient Greeks from them!
Maths Day proved a success on Wednesday, with children realising just how fun maths can be! Thanks to Mr Powell for organising this. Keep scrolling to see some photos from the day.
We have several other curriculum days and events to look forward to this term. Careers Day is on Friday 30th January and we are still looking for a couple more volunteers to come into school to talk about their jobs. Please see below for more details.
Music Day is on Wednesday 4th February and our annual Talent Show is on Thursday 29th January. Check out the information contained in this newsletter for how you can book your tickets!

Crestwood Park's Got Talent!
It is nearly time for our annual Talent Show - Thursday 29th January at 6pm.
The event takes place at The Crestwood High School and promises to be an exciting evening.
A decision has now been made following the class auditions.
Parents have been alerted if their child has been successful.
Music must be provided for the act as an MP3 file to Mrs Cadman.
For the families of the children taking part, seats are available to purchase on Teachers2Parents App. 2 seats per family. This may increase, once we know numbers attending. (Children who are taking part - do NOT need a seat purchasing, as they will sit separately)
For all other families, seats will be available to purchase at the end of next week. Look out for the sch life message!

This half term we will be focusing on the SPARK - AWARE!
Children will be encouraged to complete the 10 AWARE tasks in order to receive their AWARE badge at the end of this half term.
Please support your child in completing these tasks and send evidence in to the class teacher to prove a task has been completed.

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is the responsibility of everyone in our school and at all times we consider what is in our children's best interests. We work to ensure our children are safe and cared for and by doing this we are protecting their health and development and preventing them from harm. If we are worried, we will raise concerns, share information and take prompt action with the aim of ensuring families receive the right help at the right time.
