Be the best you can be

Welcome to our Newsletter

The highlight of this week has undoubtedly been the Key Stage 1 performances of ‘The Angel Who Nearly Missed It All!’. What a wonderful nativity play this was! All the children acted and sang their hearts out. We have also hosted  ‘Breakfast with Santa’ -our very popular morning event. It is always lovely to start the day with a good breakfast and a gift from Father Christmas!

Next week will play host to Christmas parties on Thursday and a Key stage 2 Carol Service on Friday morning. We will then have made it to the end of what has been a very long and eventful term!

Happy Birthday to you...

We would like to say a very big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to...Thomas and Leila-Rae who have celebrated his birthday this week!

Thursday 21st December - Class Christmas Parties...

Children should come to school in their party clothes, but wear sensible shoes and bring a coat!

All children will still need to book or bring in a lunch on this day.

Key stage 2 children  (years 3-6) will also need to bring in a plate of party food to eat during the afternoon. This is not to share but for the children to eat for themselves- it just needs to contain a small selection of party snacks- no nuts please.

Key Stage 1 children  (Reception, year 1 and year 2) ARE NOT required to bring in any food as they will be making their own snacks in school during the morning.

Friday 22nd Dec - KS2 Carol Service 9.00am

                        - Last day of term!

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is the responsibility of everyone in our school and at all times we consider what is in our children's best interests. We work to ensure our children are safe and cared for and by doing this we are protecting their health and development and preventing them from harm.  If we are worried, we will raise concerns, share information and take prompt action with the aim of ensuring families receive the right help at the right time.
