Welcome to

Crestwood Park Primary School

Be the best you can be

Welcome to our Newsletter

Well, it certainly feels like our summer term is shaping up to be one full of highlights. It is wonderful that all classes are embarking on their trips. Year 6 set off on their Pioneer residential this morning and year 5 and Reception class have had such fun and thoroughly enjoyed their recent visits- see below for some photos!

Today was Well-Being Day in school. A special thanks to Mrs Priest for organising this. We celebrated our Father Figure’s in a special assembly this morning where the children certainly made the audience feel like heroes! The day then proceeded to be full of enjoyable mindfulness and sensory activities; photos of these appear later on in this newsletter.

So, as always, I urge you to keep on reading...

Happy Birthday to you...

Sending Birthday wishes to Heidi, Jak and Amber who have celebrated their birthday this week or will be over the weekend.

Pastoral Update

Wellbeing means the world to us in our school and to celebrate this our children have enjoyed a Wellbeing Day today.

From cup stacking and teams challenges to board games and a sensory experience in our cosy cave.  Our children have also enjoyed mindful activities in the classroom.  We have had a truly wonderful day filled with fun and laughter. Hopefully you'll get to hear about what your children enjoyed the most.  Take a look at what we have been up to!

Reception Trip to Little Owl Farm

Reception had the time of their lives yesterday at Little Owl Farm. They had a guided tour, a petting session with various cute animals followed by a tractor ride! They ended the afternoon on bouncy pillows, pedal tractors, climbing walls and lots more activities to wear them out! Thank you to all the staff that supported our children on the trip!

A huge THANKYOU to anyone who has made a flower for the Eco Flower Festival.

What's Going on in our Community

Events that may be of interest to you and your families.

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is the responsibility of everyone in our school and at all times we consider what is in our children's best interests. We work to ensure our children are safe and cared for and by doing this we are protecting their health and development and preventing them from harm.  If we are worried, we will raise concerns, share information and take prompt action with the aim of ensuring families receive the right help at the right time.
