Looking After Our Wellbeing

A huge welcome back to the new school year, we have missed your beautiful smiles.

Just an update for parents, we will be supporting all of our children on a need basis over the coming few weeks. We believe this offers the best support during this transitional period giving our little lovelies time to settle.  This also gives us the opportunity to observe, monitor and assess need.

Nurture groups, social skills groups etc and 1:1 support will commence week beginning 25th September.  Letters will be sent out to parents/guardians of children who will be receiving support.  In the meantime, if you have any worries or concerns about your child's wellbeing, please don't hesitate to call us or email spriest@crestwood-p.dudley.sch.uk and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

On a different note, please don't forget to check the newsletter next week for our new kindness challenges. We're sure you're going to love them. So, until next week, take care of each other and be safe in the sunshine, lots of love the pastoral team xxx

IMPORTANT ASTHMA INFORMATION

As a school we like to offer the best care we can to support you and you children. To do this we need your help to keep us up to date. If your child is on our asthma register you will have received a letter and a new asthma form. It is important that this is returned as soon as possible so that our records are accurate.

Please also make sure we have 2 labelled inhalers and a spacer which are in date for your child.

Thank you so much for your support with this, please do not hesitate to speak to Sue Priest should you have any concerns or questions.  You can email me on spriest@crestwood-p.dudley.sch.uk or phone (01384) 818315 and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Thank you so much to those of you who have already returned your forms and inhalers

Subject Spotlight

Each week we will be sharing with you a subject that is taught in school and allowing you to see your child's learning journey in that subject.

This week we are sharing the learning journey for Personal, Social and Health Education.

Just remember everyone…

“A new school year means new beginnings, new adventures and new challenges. The slate is clean and anything can happen!”

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is the responsibility of everyone in our school and at all times we consider what is in our children's best interests. We work to ensure our children are safe and cared for and by doing this we are protecting their health and development and preventing them from harm.  If we are worried, we will raise concerns, share information and take prompt action with the aim of ensuring families receive the right help at the right time.
