Welcome to

Crestwood Park Primary School

Be the best you can be

Welcome to our Newsletter

We have started July with a bang! The Get Together Picnic after school today has raised around £1500 for our school! We will confirm the exact figure on Monday but already we know that our children can be treated next year. We plan to continue to subsidise any trips and invest in some digital equipment for classes. The hard work of our HSA and family contributions- particularly the Crestwood Cups and Rainbow Items -have ensured that we have raised an amazing amount. Thank you all so much- there are some photos of the event below!

Thank you too needs to go to our year 6 team, as today they proved what fantastic entrepreneurs they are. Their enterprise initiatives proved a huge success in school throughout the day. Every class visited and paid to partake in a whole host of games and activities. The children were delighted with their prizes and the year 6 collectively made £475! They have decided to donate this to a charity close to their hearts- Muscular Dystrophy UK. We will share some photos of the children partaking in the Enterprise Day in next week's newsletter- so be sure to read it!

Happy Birthday to you...

We would like to say a very big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to...Tanatswa and Dollie-Lou who have celebrated their birthday this week or will be celebrating over the weekend.

Looking After Our Wellbeing

We hope you have all had a wonderful week. Just to update you, as we are heading towards the end of term, children currently receiving support will have their final session next week.  This allows us to assess our children and look at our needs for September. Should you wish to discuss provision for your child before we break up, please call the office or email spriest@crestwood-p.dudley.sch.uk and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

In the meantime, we would like to share a daily challenge to take you through to the end of July. Please look after yourselves and for those of you who have had a difficult or challenging week there will be better days to come, we are always here for you.

Lots of love The Pastoral Team xxxx

Celebrating Our Children's Work

Year 5 have been reading ' Nevermoor' in class .

From this, they designed a poster to persuade people to go to the 'show trials'.

Tiana has done such a great job of doing this, her presentation is fantastic too.

Well done Tiana

TT Rockstars!

A massive well don to Isacc who is our times tables champion for the week again!

This time he has answered an incredible 6000 questions correctly in just one week. That has to be a new reccord.

Well done Isacc!

Well done to year 3 who continue to work their socks off and lead the way. And come on year 5, this is getting embarrassing!

Finally...

I am hoping that everyone has a happy weekend after such a happy end to our week. Everybody's generosity- both in donations and in giving their time - to support our 'Get Together' this afternoon is so very much appreciated.

"Remember that the happiest of people are not those getting more, but those giving more."

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is the responsibility of everyone in our school and at all times we consider what is in our children's best interests. We work to ensure our children are safe and cared for and by doing this we are protecting their health and development and preventing them from harm.  If we are worried, we will raise concerns, share information and take prompt action with the aim of ensuring families receive the right help at the right time.
