Welcome to

Crestwood Park Primary School

Be the best you can be

Welcome to our Newsletter

Well, we have been thrilled to welcome our Crestwood Park family back to school this week after a sun and fun filled summer. A warm welcome too, to our new families. The reception children have been entering school with smiles on their faces and we are so looking forward to them embarking on their first year of learning, laughter and growth at Crestwood Park.

Unfortunately, the rain has been an unwelcome visitor to us, and we have had a few significant leaks around school. Rest assured; we are dealing with these as best we can and will always put our children’s safety first in any decisions we make.

Thank you for bearing with use whilst we wait for the issue with the Teachers2Parents app to be resolved. Children will be asked for their food orders during registration time on Monday and we hope that for Tuesday the app will be back up and running for us.

Our newsletter is a very important means of us communicating with you all, so if you are reading this, thank you!  Please continue to do so each week and spread the word!

Happy Birthday to you...

Sending Birthday wishes to Rhys, Theo, Oscar, Lola and Kayden!

Pastoral Update

Welcome back, we have missed you all! It has been so lovely to see so many smiley faces and to hear what you have all been getting up to.

PASTORAL UPDATE!
At the start of a new school year we feel it is important to support all of our children to settle in.  Therefore, our buddy/self esteem/social skills groups will begin 22nd September.  This is so that we can monitor and observe all of our children to identify their needs.  You will be contacted over the next few weeks if we feel your child would either benefit from or continue to be supported by our team.

In the meantime, if you have any worries or concerns about your child, please do not hesitate to call Sue Priest on (01384) 818315 or email spriest@crestwood-p.dudley.sch.uk and I will get back to you.

Have a lovely weekend and look after each other, lots of love The Pastoral Team xxxx
IMPORTANT ASTHMA INFORMATION
If your child is on our asthma register can you please make sure they have their inhaler and spacer in school. Please also label it clearly and make sure that it is in date. All inhalers are kept in our classroom back packs so that they are easily accessible throughout the school day.

By now, if your child hasn't recently been diagnosed you will have received a letter to update your child's care plan. We do this annually to ensure we have up to date information so that we can give your child the best care.

Thank you so much for your support, if you have any questions or worries please contact Sue Priest (01384) 818315 or email spriest@crestwood-p.dudley.sch.uk

Mrs Cadman's News!

I hope you have all had a good summer break.

After speaking to the children in assembly this week, it was great to hear how many children had the opportunity to visit the library this holiday.

Take a look at the photos below of Mia who completed the library challenge by reading 6 books.

She received a certificate and a fantastic medal.

Well done Mia.

We work to ensure our children are safe and cared for and by doing this we are protecting their health and development and preventing them from harm.  If we are worried, we will raise concerns, share information and take prompt action with the aim of ensuring families receive the right help at the right time.
