Maths

Daily Maths task!

This week you will be exploring multiplication and division. Each day there will be a video and powerpoint for you to work through and then choose your challenge for the day.

Choose your own challenge - BRONZE, SILVER, GOLD

There is no need to print off the sheets. You can just write the answer out onto a piece of paper. You can take pictures of your work or produce a word document on the computer with your answers on and send them over to my email.

SPAG

For our Grammar and Punctuation work, we will be using our usual Classroom Secrets sheets.

Just a reminder of the different pages (don't feel you have to do it all - remember to pick the level that is suitable for you!)

The Varied Fluency worksheet is to practise the skill.

D is for Developing - give this sheet a try if you're not sure on the subject.

E is for Expected - give this sheet a try if you feel confident with the subject.

GD is for Greater Depth - give this sheet ago if you want to challenge yourself.

Recognising the Future Perfect Form

Work your way through the powerpoint first before you attempt the worksheet.

Spellings

Here are the Spelling word lists for Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and 6.

Challenge yourself to practise 10 a day.  You can practise using Look, Cover, Write, Check and then challenge yourself to include them in a paragraph.

I shall set a spelling task on Purple Mash on Mondays and Wednesday  - this will include words from previous years, words with certain patterns and words I feel that you need to learn.

Climate

Today you are going to explore the climate.

Do you know what the word climate means? Watch the video below.

When you have discovered what the climate is I would like you to learn about the climate of different countries and the impact the equator has on this. There are 2 website links with videos and information for you to take a look at below.

Your task today when you have had a read of the information is to complete 2 worksheets.

If you have any questions your grown ups can drop me an email.
