Hello and welcome to our Crestwood Park Math's challenge page! There are some family math's challenges for you to attempt. Sometimes these will be whole school and sometimes for your key stage. Every class across the school can take part with varying degrees of support from family members. Remember to get your parents and brothers and sisters involved and try to do the challenges practically.

This maths challenge is a game you can play with an adult in your house. Have fun! There is no need to send solutions this week. 

This challenge is all about arranging digits. There is a separate challenge for Key Stage One and Key Stage Two. 

Again there are lots of solutions to the Key Stage One challenge. One possible solution is;

Largest even: 98

Largest odd: 75

Smallest odd: 13

Largest Multiple of 5: 60

Number closest to 50: 42

This problem is all about using cubes but you can do this at home using lego. Have fun investigating! Remember to send me your answers.

This problem is a rules and pattern problem for everyone to have a go at. You can increase the difficulty by increasing the number of people.

Answer to Idip

If you had two people  you would start in second position.
If you had three people you would start in second position.
If you had four people you would start in fourth position.
If you had five people you would start in third position.
If you had six people you would start in second position.
If you had seven people you would start in first position.
If you had eight people you would start in second position and so on.
