Here are three different texts for you to read and answer the questions. They are varying in levels of difficulty, 'Pop to the Shop' is most accessible, 'Troll's Troubles' is most challenging and 'Alexander's Adventure' is somewhere in the middle. You can have a go at all three or choose the one that is most appropriate to you. If you don't have a printer then you can read it on screen and answer the questions separately. Be aware that the answers are on the second page, so don't cheat!!

Tuesday
Compulsory
Watch the film clip 'Caterpillar Shoes'. It is fun and will be a flashback to when we had our own caterpillars in our classroom. Although I'm not sure I spotted any of them wearing shoes, did you?!
Use the grid below to mark off the mini beasts and shoes that DID NOT appear in the film clip. Then have a go at pairing up the remaining mini beasts with the shoes they were given. I think you'll need to watch the clip more than once to do this.
Use the sheet below to think about the unfortunate incidents that happen to the fly throughout the clip. Write a sentence to describe each incident. Can you think of your own unfortunate incident that might happen to the fly? I have included some useful words that might help you.
