Geography
So far we have learnt about 3 of the 4 countries that make up the UK. Can you remember them all? Yes, England, Scotland and Wales! So this week we will be learning about the final country of the UK and that is Northern Ireland.
I would like you to research some of the key features of Northern Ireland. Below is a document containing some questions to get you started. You don't have to answer all of the questions, choose 2 or 3 that interest you.
Use the sources below to try to answer the questions you have chosen. If you want to use other sources too then you can do. There are some video clips to watch and some fact cards to read through. Find out about the myth of how The Giant's Causeway was formed. What is a myth? For today there doesn't need to be a written outcome, it is all about finding out and some discussion. We will present our findings in a way that celebrates Northern Ireland throughout tomorrow.

Below is a link to a video showing you how to perform your own Irish dance. Have a go, it is quite fast, but believe it or not this was the easiest video I could find! Try your best, practise a few times and I'm sure it will become easier. Make sure you have lots of fun and laughs! You can always send me a video clip of your attempts!
