Computing Tuesday 9th February Safer Internet Day
Below is a story about staying safe when using the internet, particularly on a tablet or smart phone. Ask a grown up to read the story with you and talk about what would be the best thing to do in the different situations.
Use the templates below to create a poster about how to stay safe online. Make sure your messages are clear. Use what you learnt in the story above and anything else you talked about. If you would rather, you can just use a plain piece of paper to make your poster.

Geography
So far, we have learnt about 2 of the 4 countries of the UK, England and Scotland. This week we are going to be learning about Wales, the third of the 4 countries that make up the UK.
I would like you to research some of the key features of Wales. Below is a document containing some questions to get you started. You don't have to answer all of the questions, choose 2 or 3 that interest you.
Use the sources below to try to answer the questions you have chosen. If you want to use other sources too then you can do. There are some video clips to watch and a powerpoint to give you some further information. For today there doesn't need to be a written outcome, it is all about finding out and some discussion. We will present our findings in a way that celebrates Wales tomorrow.
Thursday
Geography / Art
Below is a tutorial for how to make a Welsh dragon using a wooden spoon. If you have a wooden spoon then great, alternatively I have uploaded a template for a spoon below that you can cut out and transform into a Welsh dragon of your own. The link gives some hints and tips of different things you could use, but really you can use whatever you have at home to create your dragon.

Well Being
What our time apart has taught me is how special you all are and how much I have missed each and every one of you. Today, I would like you to think about what is is that makes you special and unique. Use the sheet below to consider what are your best qualities. I think you will have more special qualities than there are spaces on the sheet!
