Geography
Today, we are learning all about England, the country of the United Kingdom that we all live in. I would like you to research some of the key features of England. Below is a document containing some questions to get you started. You don't have to answer all of the questions, choose 2 or 3 that interest you.
Use the sources below to try to answer the questions you have chosen. If you want to use other sources too then you can do. There are some video clips to watch and some fact card to read through. Use the Visit England webpage to explore different parts of England and its countryside and tourist attractions. For today there doesn't need to be a written outcome, it is all about finding out and some discussion. We will present our findings tomorrow.
Tuesday
Geography
Remind yourselves of your findings from your research about England yesterday. Look back at the questions that started your research and the answers that you found. You can look back at the resources we used yesterday if you need to. Present your findings in a 'Visit England' poster, telling tourists what they might find if they decide to visit England.
Wednesday
P.E.
Today our P.E. is some yoga. Use the video and copy the moves as closely as you can. Have fun!
Thursday
R.E.
Mrs Kennedy has asked me to share her R.E. lesson with you this week. See the document below and enjoy!
Friday
D & T
Today as a further celebration of England, we are going to have a go at making an English rose. The link below asks for red paper plates, but I don't think this is necessary. If you have plain paper plates then you can either make a white rose or you could colour/paint the plate before hand. If you have red card or paper then you could cut a circular shape out of this to start you off. If you only have plain paper or card then you can again just make a white rose or colour/paint it before hand. Have fun!
