Well Being Award
As you can see from the photo above we are now in proud possession of the Well Being Award Certificate. We are delighted to show it off infront of our lovely new foyer display. The new decoration design in our foyer is thanks to the hard work of Mrs Stowe, Mrs Cooper, Ms Bullas and Mrs Priest. A special thank you to Mr Cooper for his DIY skills over the half term break. Come in and have a look - it's amazing!
After School Clubs
Mr Barnett has sent out letters offering Year 1 and Year 2 a gymnastics club on Tuesdays, starting Tuesday 13th. To secure your place make sure your reply slip and money is handed back quickly .
Children in Need Fund Raising
We have had some lovely prizes donated by Mrs Stowe to rafflle for Children in Need. Including a Pudsey Bear, headbands and wristbands. A letter has been sent home giving details of the days the raffle tickets are on sale; Monday 12th until Friday 16th.
We will be asking children to come in dressed as Rock Stars or Pop Stars on the day Friday 16th November, in exchange for a small donation and a flyer has been sent home. Thankyou for your support with this fundraising.
Well done to these children who had their SMART SPARKS raffle tickets drawn at the end of last half term. We are now looking for children who are POLITE SPARKS!
Mrs Stowe has sent out a letter inviting children to take part in this lovely occasion at a local church in Wollaston. We have had a great response and can confirm it will definately be going ahead - subject to weather of course!! Practising starts next week.
You are all welcome to come along to see the children in action. Entry is free and no tickets are required.
Thank you so much for supporting the book fair and buying so many items. We are truly amazed at your generosity. We raised a fantastic £811.40. Mrs Kennedy has been busy ordering more books to add to our library with our commission.
Thank you to all our families who took the time and trouble from their busy lives to bake, decorate and carry in (with extreme care!) their brilliant creations. I know that judging all of the entries was extemely difficult due to the high quality of the bakes. We would like to say a huge thank you to our kitchen team and Dudley Catering Services for donating the prizes and offering their time to be judge for the day. We really appreciate it!
Some of the proceeds from our annual Bake Off sale is sent to sponsor our Dalit child. This is a partnership whereby we contribute to his education for life. The remainder of the monies raised will be sent on to Classroom in the Clouds, another fabulous cause we support as a school.
You will have received your child's letter by now - thank you to those who have already sent in your reply. If you haven't yet, please return it as soon as possible.
School Life App
Another little reminder that if you are still struggling to log onto the app, or are having any other difficulties, please get in touch with Mrs Hughes in the office. She will gladly try to sort them out. Without access to this app and therefore without the notifications it sends through you will miss out on important things going on at school, such as Achievers assembly certificates and closed school notice for bad weather etc.
