WELLBEING...
Are you ready for Fitness Friday?...
It's back...FITNESS FRIDAY will commence on Friday 29th November from 8.50am - 9.20am. It will take place in the school hall. No booking required - come along and give it a try - it is FREE! All parents, carers, grandparents and adult relatives are welcome to join in the fun for a bit of cardio and endurance fun...Mr Barnett looks forward to seeing you.
Children In Need...
On Friday 15th November we will be raising money for Children In Need so for a £1 donation the children can leap out of bed and change into yet another pair of pyjamas. Please look out for the fliers sent home via the children detailing all the various activities that will be taking place to support Pudsey and his crew.
Football Club uptake...
Due to the fantastic amount of interest for Mr Barnett's football club, from next week the club will need to be held outside. Your child needs appropriate clothing for outside, also please be aware your child will get muddy so appropriate footwear is necessary, along with a carrier bag to take muddy clothing and footwear home. Thank-you.
Funds awarded from The Richardson Charity...
Dudley Council has identified funding within a number of dormant charitible trusts, as a result of which a proportion of funds from an organistation "The Richardson Charity" has been allocated to our school. We feel honoured to have been selected and the funds will be deposited into our school fund account to benefit our children here at Crestwood Park. For further information on the fantastic work that The Richardson Charity undertake to support vulnerable children, please visit their site - charity number 527580.
Behaviour Ladder letters...
At the end of summer term last year, we asked children a series of questions about our school. One question was about how children behave at Crestwood Park. Many children said that they felt the behaviour of pupils was something we could improve on. As a result of their valuable feedback, we spent the first half term of this year, trailling a better behaviour ladder that staff and children can use around the school. A letter has been sent out this week via our children explaining how this works, however should you have any questions, please do contact either Mrs Cooper or Mrs Kennedy.
A message of thanks about the Book Fair...
Thank you to everyone who visited our Book Fair on Parents’ Evening. We sold over £600 worth of books and stationery, which gives us a fantastic amount of commission to spend on resources for the school. Thank you once again for your support.
Festive shenanigans ahead...
With less than 7 weeks until Christmas, we are working hard behind the scenes to create lots of festive 'fun-filled' activities for not only our children but our Crestwood Park families also. Please keep your eyes peeled for elf-antics, breakfast with Santa dates and our Christmas film night.
