Bank Holiday

As you are probably all aware, next Monday (7th May) is a Bank Holiday and school will be closed to all on that day. Therefore there won't be any Lapwood Lambs. Enjoy your day off!

School Life App

Our subscription to the teachers2parents text messaging service has now expired. The School Life app is now the only way that we will contact parents via messaging. It is extremely important that all parents are up and running with the School Life app. If you are having any difficulties please call into the office and we will sort it out for you. We don't want anyone to miss any important information or messages. Thanks for your co-operation.

Summer is here!

Well we'd like to think it is! So everyone is welcome to wear their summer uniform. Here is a reminder of what we expect:

Girls can wear a red and white gingham dress. But they still must wear sensible shoes - no strappy sandals will be allowed.

Boys can wear shorts with a polo top. Year 5 and 6 need not wear their tie as long as a polo shirt is worn instead of a button up cotton shirt.

Muscular Dystrophy UK Fun Run

We have sent out further details about the Fun Run today (Friday) so search children's bags if they don't give you an orange flyer!. We are really looking forward to seeing lots of children enjoying some time together, all in aid of a very worthy cause. Just to clarify, the run is for children only. It is not a race, however, we are sure children will enjoy seeing just how many laps of the circuit they can do! During the event, children are the responsibility of parents so all children will need to be collected at the end of the day as normal, before the event begins at 3:30pm. Let's hope the sun shines for us! Thankyou for your support.

Ready, Steady...Bake!

As part of the the event on Thursday, Parent Voice would like to sell some cupcakes to runners and spectators. All donations will be very gratefully recieved (all money raised will go directly to the charity). If you are able to bake something (or buy something!) please bring it in to school with children on Thursday morning. Thankyou.
