We are so grateful for your generous donations - Black Country Foodback collected 4 crates from school this morning which will be of great benefit to families in the area. 

Firstly, thank-you for all donations received to-date - there is still time to donate Easter eggs for our annual Easter egg raffle. The raffle is being held on the last day of term - Friday 12th April (see below for further information).  Please send any donations into school- all monies raised will go into to school fund. Tickets will be on sale from Monday afternoon. Also don't forget on the same day, there will be our usual Easter bonnet parade - a prize for all entrants.

Details have been sent out today for details of the Achiever and Easter Bonnet Assembly which is taking place on the last day of term - Friday 12th April.  Families have been allocated TWO tickets - please keep these safe as admittance is by ticket only.  As this assembly is extremely popular, no other children will be admitted.  Please note that the assembly starts at 2:15pm, thank-you and we look forward to seeing you on the day.

** FEW MORE SPACES AVAILABLE ** Mr Barnett, our egg-ceptional Sports Coach, still has a few spaces left for you to join his egg-citing Easter Fun Day.  It is taking place on Monday 15th April from 9:00am - 3:00pm. Please refer to the letter for full details and return the slip and money to the school office no later than 11th April, thank-you. Please note that places are limited to 30 children.

A little reminder from Mrs Bullas and Miss Johnson that on Tuesday 9th April, our local vicar will be visiting us to talk to the children in Year 1 and 2 about traditional Christian wedding services.  The children have been learning about different ceremonies in R.E.  As part of this, the vicar will be conducting a mock wedding ceremony for the children.  We would love the children to bring a change of clothes suitable for a wedding, but please do not go to any expense.

How egg-citing...on Monday (8th April) Lapwood Lambs will be holding their Easter Bonnet Parade - don't forget to bring your Easter Bonnets with you that you made last week.  If you have not yet made a bonnet, you will be able to make one on the day. Mrs Tonks is very egg-cited about seeing your creations.

Please look out for school reports, which will be issued on the 10th April.  The reports will be sent home with your children (unless requested otherwise), thank-you.

A massive thank-you to everyone who attended and helped at our Scholastic Book Fair - our wonderful libraries in Key Stage 1 and 2 will benefit from receiving free books to the value of £336.00 - thank-you.

Just a quick reminder that Running Club has now finished - so no running on Thursday 11th April.  A letter will be sent out during the first week back to provide details of a new club with summer in mind.

Just to confirm that swimming for our children in Year 4 has now finished.  Details will follow shortly with regards to swimming lessons at The Crestwood School for Year 5 children.

Why not take advantage of free swimming over the Easter holidays...Let's get kids active with FREE SWIMMING sessions at Dudley borough leisure centres.  Dudley Borough are again offering FREE swimming for children aged 16 and under during Dudley borough school holidays at Crystal, Dudley and Halesowen leisure centres.
