Well Being
As you know we fundraise for "Classroom In the Clouds" and as a result of our children participating in little (but significant) fundraising events within the school, we have recently raised £307.02...a massive thank-you to those that have contributed to this worthy cause.
Year 5 swimming...
Swimming commenced for our Year 5 children on Tuesday 30th April at The Crestwood School. The next lesson will be on Tuesday 7th May but then there will be a delay due to exams at The Crestwood School. Lessons will re-commence on Tuesday 18th June. Please ensure your child brings suitable swimming attire and a waterproof bag to store their clothes.
Year 6 SAT's Preparation Sessions...
The final SAT's preparation session for Year 6 pupils will take place on Tuesday 7th May (3:15pm - 4:30pm) - parents are invited (please return the slip at the bottom of the invite letter) so please do attend where possible, thank-you.
Year 6 SAT's week - Breakfast Club...
A letter was sent out via Year 6 pupils this week inviting them to attend a Breakfast Club during SAT's week - the club is being held in conjuction with ourselves and Dudley Catering Services. School will open to Year 6 pupils at 8:15am when staff will be on hand to supervise and serve breakfast. All costs will be paid from school fund so no charge is made to pupils.
After School Clubs for Summer term...
Please check your child's school bag for letters sent out this week by Mr Barnett for the following forthcoming After School Clubs...
The first club will commence on Tuesday 7th May for Year 1 and 2 - "Racquets and Bats Club".
The second club is aimed at KS2 children commencing Wednesday 8th May - "Quick Cricket Club".
Please refer to the letters issued for further details and costs.
Mr Barnett would be really grateful if you could complete and return the slips and money via the classroom as soon as possible, thank-you. Spaces are limited to 20 places per club so act fast!
Running Club update...
Please be aware that there is no Running Club this half-term but will resume after Whitsun - please look out for a letter from Mr Barnett.
