We've been very lucky to end the week with sunshine and blue skies, especially as we've all been out on our whole school trip today! Achievement assembly yesterday was fantastic- we are incredibly proud of all the children who celebrated an achievement; from Golden Certificates and KIND SPARKS to Karate medals, football trophies, dance achievements and swimming badges- celebrating these awards in front of the whole school is always very special.

The final half term of the year is nearly with us and this one is busier than ever! There is something exciting happening every week; keep-up-to-date with what is happening, by looking at the online calendar on the app or website.

Today's whole school trip was a huge success. We had the whole museum to ourselves and it was fantastic to see our children out and about, learning about the history of local buildings and points of interest. Other activities included a 'Three Little Pigs' workshop, a 'brick-making' workshop and even a visit to the top of the museum's working windmill!

We were very proud to receive multiple comments from the staff at the museum, about the behaviour and conduct of our children- we know they're amazing, but to hear it from other people is even better! Well done Team CPPS! 

We would like to say a very big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to... George, Grace, Ben, Oliver, Grace, Aleksander, Arthur, Anna, Rose and Joshua who have celebrated their birthday this week or will be celebrating over the half term.

Those Summer holidays aren't too far away now. Who wants to get fit?!...

Don't forget that Mr Barnett holds a fitness session on Friday mornings, just after children are dropped off. We have a really good range of equipment for parents and family friends to use and is a lovely way to have a catch-up with other parents, whilst burning a few calories at the same time! No need to book, just turn up! 

First session back after half term will be - Friday 10th June 

Don't forget Summer term starts on Monday 6th June! As a reminder, the extra Jubilee Bank Holiday is being given to schools on the 22nd July so school finishes for children on Wednesday 20th July.

This week's TTRS champion is Jacob in Year 4, almost 1000 correct answers in just one week! Amazing Jacob...Mr Powell was very proud of your achievements when he presented you with your medal this morning. 

We're looking forward to seeing those of you who have booked a place for the multi-sports day on Monday. Please remember sun hats and cream... but be prepared for all weathers! Doors open at 9am.
