English grammar, reading and spellings
Hello children! Today's English follows the same format as every other day. I have provided grammar tasks for noun phrases, spellings work and . For the noun phrases work it discusses 'modifiers' thee are the words you use to alter the sentence (adjectives for example) so don't let it confuse you. See the example questions and answers to help with this before attempting the task.
Spellings looks at making use of the homophones from purple mash yesterday. I'd like you to write some sentences making use of these specific words. Don't forget to form your sentences grammatically correct - capital letters and full stops are a must!
Maths - area continued...
Today, we are building on our understanding of area by attempting to solve some problems. I have attached some reasoning problems for you to attempt linked to the activities from yesterday. Read the questions carefully and have a think about what it is asking you. Remember, you can choose the level which you want to work at but aim to go as high as you can! The answers are at the bottom for you to check after you have finished. Try your best!
Also, don't forget your daily times tables practise. This will help you alot with a large proportion of maths don't forget...
