HAPPY FUN DAY FRIDAY...

Friday Quiz

CAN YOU MASTER THIS QUIZ?!?!

Hello Children! Before continuing with your work for today, please take the time to complete this quiz. Make sure that you add your name to your quiz at the beginning! Have fun!

Today, I'd like to launch our new RSE theme - "Living in the wider world"

This unit of work aims to teach you to understand how your choices can make a difference to the environment and even other people which is growing increasingly more important.

Below are three activties for you to complete to start our unit of work and end our week of work.

Have a lovely weekend.

Mr T

Activity 1

Diamond 9: Have a think about 9 things you love about the world. This could be aspects of nature, people you know, animals... anything that you really enjoy that comes from the world. Try not to think about things like computers or technology as these are man made.

Rank your 9 things by drawing or taking photographs of them and organising them in a diamond shape. The top of the diamond shape is the most important to you all the way down to the bottom which is the least important out of your chosen 9 things.

As an example, I have always enjoyed walking in forests and being surrounded by tall trees and silence. I find it peaceful and calming so I might draw a forest in the top box. I have also attached some pictures of the sorts of things you may wish to think about.

The idea is to think of the things you may appreciate in the world and why it is important to protect them as you grow older.

Activity 2

Why is it important to protect the world?

Have a look at the sheets attached and complete the activities.

Activity 3

Can you create your own model of the world? You could make it out of anything you wish.

I'd love to see pictures of your creations - feel free to email them to me!
