Can we also say a huge THANK YOU to all who have generously donated towards The Poppy Appeal! We will continue to sell poppies and other merchandise for the first week back (although please not we have now sold out of snap bands!).

School magazine update...

Calling all budding reporters and writers for our school Magazine...we are seeking the assistance of our fabulous children to provide juicy articles, stories or photographs for our first publication (to go on sale on the 22nd November), which can include the following...

Drawings, art-work, photo's, fiction and non-fiction writing or a report on a subject that interests them (they may wish to conduct an interview with someone), achievements, family news, fun-facts and even quizzes and puzzles - which I am sure will capture the interests of staff too.

Also a reminder that the deadline for these items including advertisement opportunities is the 10th November.  You can either hand items to the class teacher (this can be written) or via email to Mrs Redfern - sredfern@crestwood-p.dudley.sch.uk.

"Crestwood Park's got Talent" - afternoon with Dudley Performing Arts...

Move over Britain's Got Talent...welcome "Crestwood Park's got Talent".  Miss Johnson would like to thank all of the children, family, friends and staff for coming along to our Music ensemble in association with Dudley Performing Arts. It was fantastic to see everyone joining in an enjoying every second of it! Well done the band of Crestwood Park 2019!

Pumpkin Carving Competition...

What a wonderful end to our first term! The school council have worked hard to set up our pumpkin carving competition and what a fantastic outcome they have had! We have raised over £100 for Muscular Dystrophy UK a charity that is close to our hearts here at Crestwood Park Primary. Thank you to all families for giving up their time to make such wonderful creations (including traditional to Baby Pumpkins in Baskets, Unicorn Pumpkins and cool-dude pumpkins - amazing), and for being so generous with their donations. Choosing a winner proved very challenging for Mrs Cooper and Mrs Kennedy but we are delighted to announce 1st place to Blake (year 4), 2nd place to Cooper (year 4) and 3rd place to Molly (year 3)...runners up were Nelly (year 1), Alicia (year 4) and Troy (Year 3) - well done everyone.  Happy Halloween from the school council!

...and finally "Happy Halloween"...

We hope you have a spooktacular Halloween and a truly rested half-term - we look forward to seeing you on the 4th November.
