IMPORTANT REMINDER

Whoppee! The lovely warm, sunny weather has finally appeared! However, we have noticed that there are many children who are not bringing in water bottles to drink through out the day. Whilst we do provide water fountains in school it is still beneficial for the children to have access to water in class.

Please send your child in with a bottle of water marked with their name.

After School Clubs

The only after school club on offer during the first week of next half term is Running Club. Year 1 and 2 Choir Club will begin on Monday 11th June and Sports Clubs will also begin during the second week of the half term. Watch out for letters and sign up during the first week back if your child wants to join in.

No Dogs Allowed!

You cannot have missed the signage around out school that no dogs are allowed on our site. This also applies to dogs being carried around our site. We have had one or two occasionally brought in arms but it is now becoming a daily event where several dogs are being carried around our school. When you are collecting children from school, please do not bring your dogs on our site. Thank you for your cooperation.

Join Lapwood Lambs for a 'Royal Tea Party'

To celebrate the Queen's Birthday, children at Lapwood Lambs on Monday 4th June, will be partaking of 'Afternoon Tea'. The lovely ladies will be serving cups of tea and delicate cucumber sarnies. The dress code for this event is obviously Red, White and Blue! We hope to see all of our Lapwood Lambs there.

Fire Quiz

On the evening of Tuesday 22nd May, six Year 5 pupils took part in the final of the Dudley Schools Fire Safety Challenge at Haden Hill fire station. They managed to come in the top five out of 73 Dudley Primary Schools to reach the finals. On the night, they quizzed tremendously well as a team answering lots of questions correctly and having great fun in the process.

Overall, they came in third place.

A huge well done to Year 5 members: Adam Bailey, Archie Clewes, Caitlin Beresford, Chloe Washington, Evie Clarke and William McMichael - you did yourselves and us very proud! Also thank you to Mrs Williams, who accompanied the children and organised this.
