E-Safety Assembly
You will see from the diary dates above that on Monday 26th at 9:00am our Digital Ambassadors will be presenting an assembly with the theme of E-Safety. Online safety is an important part of anyone's digital learning so all parents and friends are invited to join us and learn a little more about how to keep safe online.
Easter at Crestwood Park
All are welcome to join us on Thursday 29th March for our Easter Service which will take place at 9:10am and will be led volunteer Year 5 and 6 children. This will be followed by the draw of our Grand Easter Egg Raffle. Tickets for the raffle will be on sale from next Monday 26th and cost just 20p per ticket/£1 per strip. Donations of Easter Eggs for this will still be gratefully received!
At 2:15pm on the 29th we have our Achievement Assembly. This will be immediately followed by Crestwood Park's Easter Bonnet Parade, every child who models their bonnet will be rewarded with a Cadbury's Cream Egg. As this is such a popular event, tickets for this assembly (two per family) have been sent home today (Friday 23rd) please check that you have received them. Please keep these safe as admittance is by ticket only as this is always an extremely popular assembly and we should remind you that we cannot accommodate pre-school aged children. Can you also be aware that bonnets need to be brought into school at the beginning of the day - no bonnets can be taken to children during the day and definitely not at the beginning of the assembly (as happened last year).
Report time!
Next Wednesday, 28th March, school reports will be winging their way home. Please make sure that your child hands it over! Children work very hard in school, so please give plenty of praise for their efforts and try to help them understand their next steps to help them improve further on their journey through the rest of the school year. Staff work hard to produce these reports so please contact your child's class teacher if you have any queries. In addition there is a slip to return included in the pack, so that you can comment on your child's report. Thank you.
School Nurse 'Drop in' Session
Our school nurse has kindly arranged to conduct a drop-in session starting at 2pm on Thursday 26th April. No appointments are required, if you have a problem just pop along and see her.
Medication in School
We thought it would be useful to give you a reminder regarding medication in school: 1) Only medication prescribed by a doctor is allowed to be administered at school. It must clearly be in its original packaging and with a pharmacist label. 2) Only medication that is required at least four times a day can be administered in school. The guidance states that 3 times a day medication should be given in the morning, at the end of the school day and then at bedtime. 3) No medication will be administered without written consent. 4) Medication must be given to adult in school (preferably the school office) and not brought in with the child. We understand that this policy may cause some inconvenience but unfortunately, we have to follow the regulations
