Well Being

We have many activities planned over the next few weeks which all come together and add to the health and well being of all our staff and children. The planned Christmas events hopefully give a feeling of fun and yet peaceful times.

Children in Need Fund Raising

Our BBC Children in Need fundraising raised over £325! Fantastic support from everyone. Pudsey will be very happy. We would like to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone for buying the raffle tickets. We hope all the winners were happy with their prizes.

Christmas Lunch

You will now have received the booking slip for the Christmas Lunch. If you have already returned yours - thank you! If not please do so as soon as possible so we can order enough Christmas Turkey!

Breakfast with Santa

We have had a fantastic response, as always, to this event. However, there are still some children who haven't yet booked their place. Please send the slips in with your money as soon as possible as places are filling up fast. It will be a fun and festive start to the day for the children where a fabulous selection of breakfast items is offered, prepared by our lovely kitchen staff. It is made extra special with a visit from Santa himself... HO, HO, HO!

KS1 Performance

The children are practising really hard for this years performance. Please send in your reply slip and money if you wish to order your ticket/programme. There will be a raffle and your programme will have your raffle ticket number on the reverse.

Crestwood Park Christmas Choir Concert

Our school choir is 'Guesting' at a Christmas Carol Concert on Monday 10th December with In Sound Company Community Choir at St James Church, Belfry Drive, Stourbridge. Our choir are singing various carols as are the Community Choir who have invited them. The concert starts at 7:30pm and all are welcome to go along and begin the festive season listening to lovely songs and poems. Entrance is free so please go along to show your support.

Flu Vaccine Catch up Clinic

If your child was absent or missed the flu vaccine for any other reason the NHS are offering a catch-up clinic. It is being held on Saturday 15th December at Stourton Village Hall between 10 - 11:00am. Please phone 01902 682674 for further information.

Lapwood Lambs Christmas Party

Mrs Tonks and Mrs Johnson would like to invite pre school children to the Lapwood Lambs Christmas Party. Dress in your best party outfits, and enjoy some party games and food. There will be a very special visitor...Ho Ho Ho!! Usual price of just 50p per child. Look forward to seeing you!

Santa's Elves need some help wrapping......

If any adults have a little time spare time on Wednesday 28th to help Santa's Elves wrap some gifts we would be very grateful! Just turn up at 9:00am at the school office. We have biscuits and cups of tea and coffee... now that makes it worth while doesn't it! Thank you!

Early Morning Drop offs

Our classroom doors open at 8:45am to offer children the chance to come in and get settled before the start of the school day, however some are being dropped off earlier.  Gates open at 8:40 am for children who are still with parents. There are no staff on duty before this time so your children are not under any supervision. We have noticed a few small instances whereby these children are not behaving as sensibly as we would like and certainly not as we expect within school grounds. If there are any further occurances, we will  be in contact with parents of children involved. Please can we remind everyone, that children should not arrive before 8:45 am unless they are with a reponsible adult.
