Welcome to

Crestwood Park Primary School

Be the best you can be

HAPPY FRIDAY CHILDREN! (and adults helping!)

Once again, well done to all of you working so hard at home! I know it's not easy for any of us (Teachers, parents and. of course, children) but it's really nice to see your work! Next week, I am in school everyday again so I may take longer to reply to emails and looking at your work. Until then though, enjoy your weekend and have a well deserved rest!

I will say again - To all your parents, thank you so much for taking the time to send the work over to me so I can share in the children's successes. I hope you all have a well deserved break and a fantastic weekend. Keep smiling everyone.

Best wishes

Mr Timmington

English activity and spelling practise.

To end the week, I have attached the last part of our story for this week and associated questions. This activity will link to the activity further down this page as I said in the video. You also have another 10 spellings to practise.

Our new grammar unit will start from next week.

Maths

As always, continue practising your times tables using TTRS as a resource.

Today, I thought you could have a go at some colourful sudoko challenges. This 'Friday Fun' activity aims to challenge your mathematical thinking. Your job is to have a go at some of the puzzles (not all of them unless you want to) to make sure each column, row, and block have all four colours (red, orange, blue, and green.) It'll be easier to understand once you look at the activity. Have a go and see how you get on.

Additional, you could try to create your own sudoko challenges if you wish on a piece of paper - if you'd like to do this then you could always send them to me and I will try my best to solve the puzzles!

*Sidenote: As a found resource, please be aware that the word 'colour' uses the American spelling 'Color'rather than the English spelling*

How can we manage our feelings?

"How can we manage our feelings?"

I've attached a sheet below which has a specific thinking task linked to our story from this week to continue our self reflection and learning about how to manage our feelings. Today, there is no pressure on you to share this with me at all (perhaps share this work with your parents however.) It is purely about you taking the time to reflect upon what helps you to manage your emotions, so please take the time to think about it.
