After School Clubs
After school clubs have started this week. You will have had a letter from Mr Barnett regarding the Athletics and Tennis clubs, so hopefully you have returned your forms and money to him to secure your place. Mrs Kennedy's Running club will continue as before, starting at 3:15pm and finishing at 4:00pm. The Choir club, with Miss Johnson, will start on Monday 23rd. Miss Johnson has also invited all of her Year 2 class to a SATs club, to be held on Thursdays. Please check the diary dates above for times.
Sometimes the clubs may be cancelled due to other activities taking priority, in which case you will be advised with as much notice as possible.
The Sun Has Got His Hat On
I'm sure you are pleased as us that the sun has finally shown his face. Please ensure that you send in your child's hat to give that extra protection when they enjoy the fresh air outdoors. Also, it is important that they wear sun cream. If you apply the 'once a day' type that's great - if not you may send some cream in to school. Equally important is to stay hydrated, as such please make sure that your child has their water bottle with them each day - filled only with water. If you do not have one, pop into the office as we have a small supply for the cost of £1.
Text Service to close!!
Our subscription to the teachers2parents text messaging service expires on Monday of next week, 23rd April. From this time only the School Life app will be used to contact parents. Can you please make sure you are up and running with the School Life app. If you are having any difficulties please call into the office and we will endeavour to sort it out for you. We don't want anyone to miss any important information or messages. Thanks for your co-operation.
