Crestwood Park Primary School

A wonderful Wellbeing Day has been had by all- children have been creating dream-catchers, taking part in Yoga and relaxation exercises, building a whole school totem pole and much more. Here at Crestwood Park we know that well-being and positive mental health are incredibly important for our children and we really do enjoy the days when we can dedicate almost every activity to promoting the importance of happy and healthy minds.

Our wonderful Pastoral Team would like to invite parents/carers to their new "Craft and Chat" club; the club will take place every Monday from 2:15pm - 3:15pm starting on the 27th January 2020 - depending on "craft of the week", we may ask for a small contribution towards materials. Please look out for the flier which will provide you with further details. Should you be interested, please leave your details with the ladies in the office as there will be limited places, thank-you.

Just a little reminder that our next Parent Voice meeting will be taking place on Friday 24th January from 9:00am, please head to the main Reception, thank-you.

On Monday 20th January, our favourite animal lady 'Angie and her Animal Antics' will be visiting us for the session. If you don't normally come along, but fancy giving it a try, the session runs in the school hall from 2:15pm to 3:15pm and is open to any adults who want to bring along a pre-school aged child. For this special session, we are asking for a contribution of £1 per child. Any questions, please pop in to the office.

Apologies in advance but due to unforeseen circumstances, it is necessary to cancel the School Nurse "drop-in" sessions.  However should you have any issues/concerns with regards to your child's health that you would like advice about, please do not hesitate to contact us and we can make arrangements for you to meet with a different school nurse, thank-you.

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is the responsibility of everyone in our school and at all times we consider what is in our children’s best interests. We work to ensure our children our safe and cared for and by doing this we are protecting their health and development and preventing them from harm.  If we are worried, we will raise concerns, share information and take prompt action with the aim of ensuring families receive the right help at the right time.
