Bikeability - Year 4 and Year 6

The Bikeability sessions are being run this week. Don't forget your safety hat...and bike of course! Feel free to wear jogger style trousers on the day if you prefer. Remember only Year 6 will be allowed to bring their bike to school following completion of the course.

Well-Being!

As part of our Peacemakers initiative, Mrs Stowe along with some of children will be getting 'Green Fingered' in our flower beds, and planting various bulbs. There will be seperate groups over the next couple of weeks. Mrs Stowe will let the children know, and when its their turn they just turn up at lunchtime to join in.

Well Being Award Day

Just a reminder that our Well Being assessment day is this week. The day will consist of the assessor chatting with various people regarding the emotional health and well being of our staff and children. A big 'Thank You' to everyone who completed the questionaires and support during this journey.

Kinetic Letters Showcase

A note was sent out a couple of days ago inviting you all to join in our Kinetic Letters Showcase. No ticket required, please just come along and see our handwriting scheme and everything that goes with it in action in the classrooms. Starting at 2:45pm, it runs until 3:15pm.

Parents Evening

Thank you to everyone who has already returned their appointment slips. Your allocated time slot will be advised shortly.

Student Update Forms

You will have received the usual annual update forms at the beginning of term. Thank you to those who returned them promptly. There are still some who haven't as yet. Could you please return them as soon as possible. If you need another set please pop into the office.

If you haven't returned the visit forms that were included and your child is due to go on a school trip - they won't be allowed without the visit forms signed.

We are stressing the need for THREE emergency contacts. We realise that some family units are small however maybe you have a close friend, trusted neighbour, adult sibling, aunt etc. Preferably one of these should be non resident.

There was a reported incident (not locally) whereby the school had only one contact- the mother. When the child was absent from school no-one could get hold of her to find out if the child was safe and well. It ended most tragically and advice now is for schools to have three contacts, one of which should be non resident

Old Uniform Plea

We would still be grateful for any old, outgrown, unwanted uniform that you could donate to us. We are always in need of spare unform for any little accidents- especially in KS1. This includes pants, socks and trousers. These can be handed into class or the office. Thank you for your help

No Smoking in School Grounds

Please can we repectfully remind you that Crestwood Park is a no smoking site. Although we are very aware that we had some uninvited visitors, in the last few days we have noticed a few cigarette butts in the outdoor classroom. Please respect our school grounds and  the safety of our children.
