Date mix-up!

A few people noticed our little error on the Diary Dates letter sent out recently. January 25th 2019 should read Year 2 class Assembly as Year 4 is in November. Apologies for this error. Keep an eye on the Calendar tab on School Life for all our events.

Year 3 Swimming

Year 3's swimming lessons will start soon, a letter will be winging its way to you very soon. please take time to read the code of conduct. Thanks for your cooperation.

Harvest Festival

As in previous years we are holding our annual Harvest Festival; this year it is on 28th September. Our fabulous Year 6 will be leading the assembly so it promises to be very entertaining. A detailed letter, with 2 tickets per family, will be sent home shortly giving ideas how you can donate to this worthy cause. The Black Country Food Bank will be collecting for the charity so all donations however small are gratefully received. They are always so appreciative at how generous you all are.

Please be mindful that we cannot accommodate young children under school age at the assembly. As we've said before it can become very hot in the hall and young children can get very irritable and can cause quite a distraction to the children who are performing. We appreciate your support with this request.

Artwork

Some children took part in an Art exhibition with Mrs Williams at the end of last term. These pieces are available to purchase for a small donation, so if your child participated and you would like to take their picture home, please pop to the office or speak with your class teacher.

After School Clubs

The clubs start this week, if you have returned your slip and money look out for the acceptance slip from Mr Barnett. Hope you enjoy yourselves.

Well-Being Award

Many of you will remember that we are working towards a 'Well-Being' Award. We have been working towards the award throughout last year and in October, we will be 'inspected'! Last Spring, some of you were very kind and completed an online questionnaire for us. We would like to send the parents' survey out again, to gather your views- we need to see what we are doing well and what we need to work harder on! If you have any queries, or don't receive the link, please let Mrs Cooper know. Thank you.
