WELLBEING...

Aldi's Kit for Schools - 'Get set to eat fresh'...

This term we're collecting Team GB stickers with Aldi's Kit for Schools for the chance to be one of 20 primary schools to win £20,000 to build a health legacy at our school! From 6 September-3 November, when you spend £30 or more in any Aldi store, you'll receive a special Team GB sticker - if our school works together to collect 300 stickers, we will automatically receive an exclusive school sports kit, in addition to entry into the £20,000 prize draw! Please send any stickers you receive into school with your children, to hand over to your child's teacher. At an appropriate time of day, the class teacher will provide children with the opportunity to put their stickers on our Aldi's Kit for Schools sticker poster. Thank-you for your support.

Reminder about Parent Meetings...

Just a reminder that on Tuesday it is Year 1 Parents' Meeting and Thursday for Year 4 Parents - the meetings take place straight after school (3:15pm).  Should you have any questions relating to the meetings, please speak to your class teacher when either dropping off or collecting, thank-you.

School Photographer...

The school photographer will be here on Wednesday 18th September, could you please ensure your child is wearing full school uniform (including ties for years 5 and 6) on that day, thank-you. If you wish to have a family photo taken with younger/older siblings who are not at Crestwood Park School (i.e. baby/infant, in nursery or in secondary school), you should arrive at school from 7.45am - regrettably, if you arrive after 8.30am, we will not be able to accommodate family photos as I am sure you can appreciate we are on a strict timetable for the morning. Please be aware that parents with children attending secondary school will be given priority so they can get to school on time, thank-you.  Please look out for letters being sent home via the children.

Pastoral Team - Little Buddy Groups...

Our wonderful Pastoral Team would like to remind you that the "Little Buddy" groups will be starting week commencing 23rd September. Parents will be notified individually if their child is going to be invited to take part.  Also, letters were sent out via the children last week with regards to the Pastoral Teams forthcoming 'Parent/Carer coffee and a chat' sessions which will be held every Monday at 2:15pm - all welcome and no appointments necessary, we look forward to seeing you.

Crestwood Park does Bake-off...

Get those baking tins brushed up and get practising for those 'show stoppers' or 'signature bakes' that you all have as on Thursday, 26th September, Crestwood Park wil be holding its annual 'Bake Off'. It will be for children and parents to enter together and you can enter any cake or bake you wish; buns, muffins, sponges or scones - whatever takes your fancy!  The entries will be judged and there will be several cooking related prizes awarded. Look out for details of the 'Bake Off' which will be sent home via your children next week...LET'S GET BAKING!

Macmillan Coffee Morning...

Our Macmillan coffee morning will take place following the Harvest Festival (look out for further details) on Friday 27th September.  Children will be taking part in their classrooms and parents who come along can join their children in class to enjoy a cake and a cuppa.  Hot drinks and cakes (from our 'Bake Off') will be on sale in the hall.  We hope our Crestwood Park family can join us to support Macmillan's World's Biggest Coffee Morning.
