WELLBEING

Just a reminder that we have plenty of information, ideas and links for supporting positive mental health and wellbeing on our website. Just look at the 'Wellbeing for All' page.

Vacancy for a Parent Governor

We have a vacancy for a Parent on our board of Governors. If you would like to know more, please speak to Mrs Cooper or Jane Morgan (our Chair of Governors) who can be contacted via the school office. Alternatively, any of our current Parent Governors would be very happy to talk to you about the role (again, this can be arranged via the school office). If you are at all interested, please come and find out a little more about what it involves- further details will be given when we return to school in January!

Key Stage 1 STAR Performance...

We are all so incredibly proud of our star performers who provided us with the most magical Nativity performance "Everyone loves a baby".  Thank-you to everyone who worked hard behind the scenes too and to everyone who attended.

Christmas Jumper Day...

A fabulous festive sight to be seen...we were dazzled by some truly wonderful Christmas jumpers on Friday; in return for a £1 donation, children (and staff included) came to school in their favourite festive jumper, which included some fabulous home-made decorated creations too - well done to all those who took part.  We will announce the amount raised in next week's newsletter. Thank-you for your support.

Christmas Disco...

A little reminder that our Christmas Disco is being held on Thursday 19th December; KS1 will be from 4:45pm - 5:45pm and KS2 from 6:00pm - 7:00pm. Letters have been sent out via the children with all the necessary details. Please return your slip and money to your class teacher, thank-you.

Classroom Christmas Parties...

Look out for the flier sent out via the children this week with details of the Classroom Christmas Parties and what the children need to bring in, thank-you. The parties will take place on Thursday 19th December during the school-day and children are able to come to school in their comfortable party clothes, again please refer to the flier for further information and in particular the information on food. Thank-you.

KS2 Carol Service...

Our wonderful children in Key Stage 2 have been regularly rehearsing for this years ever-popular Carol Service...they are sounding fabulous.  Fliers were sent out via the children this week; we have allocated 2 tickets per family - please keep these safe as admittance is by ticket only.  This is to ensure we remain within fire regulations.  As this service is always extremely popular, no other children will be admitted. We look forward to seeing you.

Places available for Mr Barnett's Christmas Fun Day...

Places are starting to fill up for Mr Barnett's Christmas Fun Day on Monday 23rd December; to book a place the cost is £10 per child, with an option to bring along a primary school aged friend (additional £10). Spare forms are available from school office if required.

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is the responsibility of everyone in our school and at all times we consider what is in our children’s best interests. We work to ensure our children our safe and cared for and by doing this we are protecting their health and development and preventing them from harm.  If we are worried, we will raise concerns, share information and take prompt action with the aim of ensuring families receive the right help at the right time.
