Crestwood Park Primary School

Food Bank Friday "80 Can Challenge"...we have received a wonderful certificate from the Black Country Foodbank to thank the Crestwood Park family for the generous donations received.  We donated 54kgs of food and 2.9kgs of non-food, an incredible amount, enough to provide 109 meals.  Black CountryFood Bank and everyone here at Crestwood Park are truly thankful for your amazing support.

We have noticed an increase in the amount of scooters being ridden in the school grounds.  For health and safety reasons, we request that should children wish to come to school on their scooter, they do refrain from riding around the playgrounds (before and after school) to avoid any uneccessary bumps.  Thank-you for your co-operation in this matter.

A letter was sent home via the children in Year 5 providing details of swimming at The Crestwood School.  The first lesson will commence on Tuesday 30th April, the next lesson will be on Tuesday 7th May but then there will be a delay due to exams at The Crestwood School.  Lessons will re-commence on Tuesday 18th June. Children will need to wear suitable swimming attire (refer to letter) and a waterproof bag to store their clothes.  Please also refer to the reverse of the letter for Code of Conduct details whilst your children are at the pool, thank-you. 

A letter has been sent home this week to invite all YEAR 6 children to attend 2 final SAT's preparation sessions; they are being held on Tuesday 30th April and Tuesday 7th May. Each session will run from 3:15pm - 4:30pm and parents are invited to join their children for some or all of this.  Would you please return the slip attached to the bottom of the letter at your earliest possible convenience please, thank-you.

All places are now filled for Mr Barnett's Easter Fun Day - we are sure the children will have a cracking day and we all look forward to hearing about it upon our return to school. 

Keep your eyes peeled for the next instalment of After-School Club activities.  Mr Barnett is working hard with the team here to co-ordinate more exciting activities and details will be provided during the first week back after half-term.

We would like to thank you for your very generous and egg-tremely scrumptious looking easter eggs for our Easter Raffle...not forgetting the egg-cellent cuddly toy Lamb which we are all hoping to re-home. We would like to wish you all a truly wonderful Easter - enjoy your choccies, family time and hopefully some lovely spring-weather.
