CAN YOU MASTER THIS QUIZ?!?!

Hello Children! Before continuing with your dinosaur work from this week, please take the time to complete this quiz. Make sure that you add your name to your quiz at the beginning! Have fun!

All week, we have been doing work based around 'Jurassic' so today I thought you could have some fun!

I have attached a resource (that I found) for you to have a look at, as I'd like you to create your own dinosaur theme park! The resource has activities throughout for you to have a look at such as buying dinosaurs, creating your park, choosing food stations and menus for your guests and many more! It is just a bit of fun for you after working so hard this half term whilst at home!

Some of the things, such as percentage discounts, you might not have looked at and so you could either ask an adult to help or ignore them! I am also aware that you may not be able to print this resource out - dont worry! You could just complete the activities on paper or adapt them using your imagination. 

If you need help adding quantities together or subtracting, then try yourself using what you have learnt so far or use a calculator to help you! 

If dinosaurs aren't your thing, then why not create another park for something that interests you! Be creative as you can be but follow the same format. For example, what food stands would your park have? What would be the main attractions in your park? How many members of staff would you need and what would there roles be? You could replace your idea with the ones in this example and keep the prices the same! 

Finally, although this activity is just for fun, there are important life skills behind it such as managing your money alongside mathematical skills such as adding and taking away four digit numbers. Don't forget this week you have also done writing around this subject and practised creating different genres of writing.

I hope you enjoy the day, you could also continue this into half term should you wish! It may take a while!
