Well Being

Our School Nurse will be available if you wish to pop in to see her on Wednesday 15th May 2019 between 3pm and 4pm - no appointments necessary.

As a parent/carer it can can be tricky deciding whether or not to keep your child off school when they are unwell. There are however government guidelines for schools that say when children should be kept off school and when they shouldn't. Please refer to the link below and refer to the section "Is my child too ill for School?"...

A little tweet (or 2)...

We are feeling so chirpy - our Nurture room has acquired two new beautiful arrivals to the Crestwood Park family...our budgies have made themselves at home and have settled in well.  We are in the process of naming them, a box is in the hall where suggestions for names can be put and a draw will be made for their little naming ceremony.  We will keep you posted of their adventures as we are hoping to tame them and get them to talk.

Year 6 SAT's week - Breakfast Club...

Please remember that Year 6 pupils can attend a Breakfast Club during SAT's week - 13th to 17th May.  School will open to Year 6 pupils at 8:15am when staff will be on hand to supervise and serve breakfast. All costs will be paid from school fund so no charge is made to pupils.

SCHOOL CLOSED 23RD MAY 2019...

Please remember that SCHOOL WILL BE CLOSED to all pupils on THURSDAY 23RD MAY due to the European Elections, thank-you.

Firebird at the Symphony Hall, Birmingham...

A letter was sent out last week via Year 5 and 6 pupils with details of a trip to the Symphony Hall in Birmingham - this is a fantastic opportunity for them to become immersed into a magical world of Princesses, magic spells and demons...we are taking Year 5 and 6 pupils to see the legendary Firebird on Thursday 27th June.  Could we please ask that you return the slip and money to secure your child's place no later than Friday 24th May, thank-you.

Official Opening of Nurture Room

Thank you for bearing with us during the building work for our nurture facilities. Although it has been in use for some time, we will by half-term have nearly all the furniture and equipment, so we will be holding an offical opening ceremony on Tuesday 4th June, during the afternoon, for invited guests. After school that day any parent that would like to drop in on their way home from school at 3:15pm, is welcome to come and look at our lovely new area.

And finally...Good Luck!

We are all sending plenty of positive thoughts to our wonderful Year 6 children as they embark on their SATs next week. We are very proud of them all and know that they will all do their very best. Good luck Year 6 - we know you will be brilliant!
