Welcome Back
We hope you have had an enjoyable and peacecful break. One week almost completed already.
WELLBEING
We are holding our 3rd Well Being Day in school on Friday 17th. This day will involve pupils joining in lots of fun and enjoyable activities. More information will be sent out with children shortly.
Lateness and Arriving at school promptly
We are seeing a regular pattern where children are arriving at school via the main front office day after day. Our school day starts at 8:55am, which means the children should be in their classroom before that time. It is so important that your child arrives in plenty of time to put their coats and bags away, and enter class ready to start the day without being rushed and flustered. The classroom doors are open for arrival from 8:45. Thank you to all those parents and carers who regularly bring their children in through the correct route.
We are starting an initiative shortly whereby all children who regularly arrive on time and via the classroom will be rewarded for this.
Year 4 swimming lessons
Just a reminder that Year 4 swimming lessons start onĀ Tuesday 14th January 2020. Please remember to send your child in with their swimming costume.
After School Clubs
Letters have been sent out with children. Please send the reply slip in with the payment as soon as possible to secure your place. If you need another letter please just ask your class teachers.
Fund Raising
Name the Pug - we raised an amazing £59 from this activity and the Pug was taken home ready to settle in for Christmas by the lucky winner.
Hamper Raffles - there was an fantastic response to this too whereby we raised £185 from tickets sales.
Disco - so many children took part in this and as such we raised more than £390. We hope they all enjoyed their evening and have by now received their photo.
Thank you so much for supporting our events not just before Christmas but throughout the year. It enables us to provide extra equipment and activities for your childern to enjoy.
Vacancy for a Parent Governor
We have some interest in this exciting position. However, if you are still thinking about finding out more information, please do get in touch.
