English - Grammar and Punctuation
We will be using classroom secrets grammar and punctuation powerpoints to enable your child to complete the worksheet. The worksheet is based on using exclamation points after a command.
Exclaimed commands are direct orders, rather than polite requests. For example: Don’t move!
Curriculum lesson - Geography
Take a look at the video below, it is called 'teachers in the freezer'. This video follows a group of British teachers on a four-week expedition to Antarctica. It helps to illustrate the conditions in cold environments and how animals are adapted to live in such conditions. It demonstrates what humans need to do to be able to live at the South Pole. The teachers then show what clothes people should wear in Antarctica, how they should travel and what food they should eat in order to survive such cold conditions.
Once you have finished watching the video, write some sentences about why it would be a problem living in Antartica.
It would be a problem because______
I think it would be hard to live here because _______
