HAPPY FRIDAY MUSIC DAY...
Music is one of my faviourite things in the world! It has the power to help you express yourself and today, I have tried to select a number of activities for you to enjoy music in some fashion whilst continuing your learning.
There are also some activities just for fun so check them out and if you have any videos and can send them over I'd love to see your talents! I always wanted to play the drums when I was little so I'm always so impressed when I see your musical talents!
English
To finish our English for the week, I have attached the end to this weeks story. In addition to this there are two activities to tie our celebrations this week together.
As it's music day, please enjoy the song celebrating being yourself. The message of our book and this song is simple...
You are all FANTASTIC in your own ways and you should ALWAYS remember that.
Mr T
Multiplication music!
Here are some videos to practise times tables linked to songs you may know! Have a listen and don't forget to sing along!
CHALLENGE! Why not try writing your own times table song to a song you like! Alternatively, if you play a musical instrumental can you use this to create a times table song?!
Music lesson from the DPA
Here's your second music lesson courtesy of the Dudley Performing Arts team!
Celebrating your musical talents!
Do you have a musical talent? I'd love to see it if you do! You might play an instrument (I know some of you do already) or you might enjoy singing! What ever it is, send it over to me! I'd love to see your talents as I love music (I play a fantastic 'finger drum' on my car steering wheel whilst waiting in traffic!)

Below, I have attached a link for you to watch. I have attached this link for two reasons. Number 1, it is one of my favourite songs (and she plays many more of the songs I listen to!) and number two it's to demonstrate and encourage you that if you want to play a musical instrument then you can do it! I recently discovered Nandi Bushell whilst listening to music whilst working and she is amazing! She is also your age!
If you want to have ago at your own drumming activity then there is another video to watch below! See if you can perform your own drumming by the end of the video! (Troy, this will be too easy for your drumming skills!)
I hope you enjoy.
