English grammar, reading and spellings
Hello children! Today's English continues our story 'You are special' with a focus on characters within the book and some thinking of how you might be like them. You'll need to think carefully. I'd also like you to think about how the two characters are different from one another and what this book might be telling us about ourselves!
In grammar, we are looking at prepositional phrases which we have discussed in class. If you can't remember, don't worry! I have attached a video for you to take a look at (although it does begin a bit weird with a cat involved!) Have a look at the example powerpoint with answers before attempting the varied fluency task.
For spellings, you can continue with the spellings set this week already as there were mutliple pages to complete. If you have already completed these then you are working hard indeed! I have reattached the work below for you to look at again.
Maths - area continued...
Today, we are finishing off our unit on area. I have attached 6 problems for you to apply your learning too. Read each question carefully to think about how to solve the problem. I have also attached square paper for the capital letter challenge. Don't panic and try your best.
Also, don't forget your daily times tables practise. This will help you alot with a large proportion of maths don't forget...
