Sporting Success!
Crestwood Park won 3-1 against Peter's Hill on Thursday night. It was the teams first ever win and after a little reminder, they won gracefully. They played incredibly well, showing off all their skills which they have been practising in their weekly Netball Club sessions. I was unbelievably proud of them, not only for winning and how brilliant they were at netball, but for their sportmanship. They represented Crestwood Park perfectly. Well done to Mercy, Rosie, Leila, Lilly, Evelyn, Renesmai, Oceanna, Benjamin, Eve, Betsy, Fearne and a special mention to Jenson, who won player of the match for his super skills, determination and team work!

School Council
On Wednesday our School Councillors embraced the windy weather in their role as our Eco-Committee. They displayed our winning 'End Engine Idling' posters on the gates and fences near to school. Take a look at the winning posters and remember to turn off your engine when you are stationary.
It's Goodbye and Good Luck!
Today we say a fond farewell to Miss Marsh who has been with us, as either a parent, a volunteer or a member of staff, for over 14 years. She will be spreading her magic with another group of lucky pupils. She will be sorely missed here at Crestwood Park.
We wish her the very best of luck as she starts a new adventure!

Next half term, we will be focusing on our KIND Spark!

During our assembly today we recognised the dedication that Hassan and Haidar have shown during Ramadan, where they completed a whole months fast whilst still continuing with their extra sporting activities.
Well done boys!
What a fantastic show of commitment.
Mrs Cadman's News
Thank you to all those children who took part in my Let's Get Writing Challenges this term. All names were put into a hat and two winners were drawn out. Well done to Hallie in Year 1 and Nathaniel in Year 6!
Another well done and thank you to all the children who sent in an entry for the World Book Day Joke Competition. The English Ambassadors had a difficult task of choosing 4 winners. Well done to Jake and Isla in Year 6 and Ava and Frankie in Year 5.
We will collate all the jokes into our very own school joke book to share.
Look out for more exciting competitions coming after Easter.
Please enjoy your Easter break and don't forget to find time to get hooked on a good book!

You won't know 'til you ask (DSIT)
The UK government has launched the 'Kids Online Safety' campaign to help parents and carers support their children to navigate the digital world safely and confidently.
The campaign brings together practical, trusted guidance on how to start meaningful conversations about online life, understand the types of content children may encounter, and build critical thinking skills so young people can question what they see and make safer choices.
It also offers advice on using tools such as parental controls, recognising potential risks, and knowing where to seek help or report concerns. The overall aim is to make online safety an ongoing, open dialogue within families rather than a one-off conversation, helping children feel supported as they explore apps, games and social media.

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is the responsibility of everyone in our school and at all times we consider what is in our children's best interests. We work to ensure our children are safe and cared for and by doing this we are protecting their health and development and preventing them from harm. If we are worried, we will raise concerns, share information and take prompt action with the aim of ensuring families receive the right help at the right time.
