Welcome to our Newsletter

Well, this week seems to have gone by in a flash!

Although, we have had some rain today, it has been lovely to see a bit of sunshine this week, and enjoy some dry, bright days at school.

So, only 4 more weeks to go before the Easter break!

These weeks are pretty busy, with World Book Day, Design and Technology week, Assessment week and Mother's Day and Easter activities all due to take place.

Keep checking your sch.life messages and reading our newsletters to stay up to date!

World Book Day!

We are celebrating World Book Day on Thursday 5th March

Children can come to school dressed as a book character on WBD. However, there is no pressure for you to go out and buy costumes, so children can also come in mufti. The day is about celebrating reading and enjoying different books and there will be a variety of activities planned for the children to enjoy.

£1 Book Tokens will be given out today so children have the opportunity to get one of the WBD free books over the weekend.

We will be holding a Mother's Day Assembly on Friday 13th March 2026, which will be open for parents to attend at 9am.
Please enter school via the rear of the hall.

Afterwards, 1 adult per child will be invited to their child's classroom, to take part in an activity.
Unfortunately, we can not allow younger siblings to attend the classroom activity.
If you have more than one child in school you can pick a classroom to go to with all of your children.

Pastoral Update

Welcome back, we hope you are all well?

With a few sunny days and the evenings getting lighter Spring is definitely on it's way.

This week we would like to share a very useful article on how to limit screen time for your child.  Our children are growing up in a digital world, it is important for us to support them with this. We hope you find this useful.

Have a lovely weekend whatever you are doing and look after each other.  Lots of love The Pastoral Team xxx
ASTHMA - IMPORTANT INFORMATION

If your child in on our asthma register, please can you make sure that your child has an inhaler and spacer in school and is labelled and in date.

Thank you for your support, together we can give your child the best care.

Foster Carers Wanted

Dudley Council are looking to recruit foster carers across the Dudley Borough. Foster care plays a vital part in so many children’s and young people’s lives. In Dudley, the need for foster carers is greater than ever. Please see the attached leaflet regarding taking the first steps into becoming a foster carer.

Finally...

With March just around the corner, I hope the weekend brings some more sunshine for you all to enjoy.

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is the responsibility of everyone in our school and at all times we consider what is in our children's best interests. We work to ensure our children are safe and cared for and by doing this we are protecting their health and development and preventing them from harm.  If we are worried, we will raise concerns, share information and take prompt action with the aim of ensuring families receive the right help at the right time.
