Welcome to our Newsletter
The week has ended with the sun shining and it has certainly been a week where our children have had the chance to shine too!
Our Sports Day yesterday was such a success. It was great to see the children having fun, being active and competitive. So many smiles and some good examples of sportsmanship and resilience were evident. Thank you to all our families who came out to support, and especially to those who entered the races at the end! There are some photos in this newsletter for you to enjoy.
Our Achievers assembly took place this morning and it was great to be able to give out so many awards. Well done to everyone- it really has been a very successful half term!

It's an important day in our school calendar because not only does it allow for the children to be active, but encourages them to show team spirit, show commitment to a team, allows them to be competitive and most of all it's a great way to have fun!
It was lovely to see so much support from families - so thank you to those who came along to watch (and participate).
A special thank you goes to Mr B and the Year 6 Sports Ambassadors for setting up the races and helping to run the event. Also the Year 6 House Captains were working hard in their house teams to organise competitors.

KIND
Well done to all the children who were awarded their Kind SPARKS badge today.

Next term our final SPARK to focus on is the SAFE SPARK.
Mrs Cadman's News
I had great pleasure in presenting three children with a special award this week.
Back in December, children were invited to enter the Rotary Competition for Young Artist, Young Photographer and Young Writer.
The three children who made it through to the next stage were awarded with another voucher and a certificate, thanking them for their contribution to the competition.
Well done to Mia, Jake and Isacc.
And a huge thank you to the Rotary Club for running these competitions.
TTRS House Tournament
Well done to all the children who took part in the Summer 1 Tournament.
Take a look at the results below!
Well done to the winning team - TIGERS - you will be receiving a house points boost!
Knowing your Times Tables is a very important element of Maths and using TTRS is a great way to learn and practise these facts.
I will be setting up a new tournament for Summer 2 - so please encourage your child to get involved!
Pastoral Update

We look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for the final half term of the school year on Monday 1st June xxx
Please take a look at the newsletter titled "What's Going On In Our Community" for information regarding events in the local area!
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is the responsibility of everyone in our school and at all times we consider what is in our children's best interests. We work to ensure our children are safe and cared for and by doing this we are protecting their health and development and preventing them from harm. If we are worried, we will raise concerns, share information and take prompt action with the aim of ensuring families receive the right help at the right time.
